4 years after drunk driving tragedy

FUKUOKA, Japan - Fukuoka municipal government employees pray in front of zizo statues at a temple in the city on Aug. 25, 2010. The statues are dedicated to three young children killed in a drunk driving accident involving a Fukuoka city government employee four years ago. Penalties against drunk driving were tightened after the incident. Zizo, from Ksitigarbha in Buddhism, is considered in Japan as the guardian of children.
