Japan prosecutor held over data tampering

OSAKA, Japan - Undated file photo shows Tsunehiko Maeda, a prosecutor at the Osaka District Public Prosecutors Office. Japan's Supreme Public Prosecutors Office in a rare move arrested the 43-year-old Maeda on Sept. 21, 2010, on suspicion of altering computer data seized during an investigation into a high-profile document falsification allegation involving an elite bureaucrat.
