Working group meeting on biodiversity ends divided
NAGOYA, Japan - Timothy Hodges (L) and Fernando Casas (C), who co-chaired a meeting of the Working Group on Access and Benefit Sharing of Genetic Resources, hold a press conference after the meeting with Ahmed Djoghlaf (R), the executive secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity, on Oct. 16, 2010, in Nagoya. The industrialized and developing countries remained divided on how to share benefits from the use of genetic resources, ahead of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, or COP10, which starts Oct. 18.
