NARITA, Japan - A monk clad as a mountain priest throws amulets onto a fire during the year's final burning of amulets in an event called ''Osame Fuda Otakiage'' at the Naritasan Shinshoji, a Buddhist temple in Narita, Chiba Prefecture, on Dec. 28, 2010.
