Edano visits Okinawa peace park

ITOMAN, Japan - Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano stands before the ''flame of peace'' at Peace Memorial Park in Itoman, Okinawa Prefecture, on Jan. 22, 2011. Edano, who doubles as minister in charge of Okinawa Prefecture issues, visited the southern island prefecture aiming to learn how the central government can reduce Okinawa's burden of hosting the bulk of U.S. bases in Japan.
