Dollar plunges to record low
TOKYO, Japan - A signboard in Tokyo shows the U.S. dollar trading in the upper 77 yen range, after plunging to the 76 yen level in the morning of March 17, 2011. The dollar briefly recorded a postwar low of 76.25 yen in Sydney, amid uncertainty over the world economy following Japan's catastrophic earthquake on March 11.
