SDF choppers drop water at Fukushima nuke plant

FUKUSHIMA, Japan - People watch TV news on efforts by Self-Defense Forces helicopters to drop water at the troubled Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant, at a gymnasium serving as an evacuation center in Fukushima, Fukushima Prefecture, on March 17, 2011. The SDF choppers dropped water in an attempt to cool down the No. 3 reactor to prevent it from emitting highly contaminated radioactive materials.
