Muslim volunteers serve curry

OTSUCHI, Japan - Volunteers from Kasugai Islamic Center cook curry for quake and tsunami victims at an evacuation center in Otsuchi, Iwate Perfecture, on March 21, 2011. Seventeen Muslims have driven from Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, to the quake-devastated northeastern region, bringing with them large amounts of ingredients and cooking utensils, to serve hundreds of dishes of warm curry, rice and naan for survivors, giving them sustenance and encouragement.
