Ex-U.S. President Carter leaves Pyongyang
PYONGYANG, North Korea - Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter (L) and North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho shake hands in Pyongyang on April 28, 2011, as Carter leaves North Korea after his visit aiming to reduce tensions on the Korean Peninsula. Carter told a press conference in Seoul the same day that the North's leader Kim Jong Il expressed his willingness to talk to parties of the six-party nuclear talks about any subject at any time without any preconditions in a message Carter received.
