Event to restore confidence in Japanese food
SINGAPORE, Singapore - Senior officials of companies involved in the Japanese food business in Singapore eat Japanese food at an event in the city state on April 28, 2011, aiming to restore consumer confidence in Japanese food after radiation fears triggered by the nuclear plant crisis in Japan. A charity campaign, called ''Friends of Japan: eat Japanese food, love Japan,'' also raised funds for disaster relief efforts.
