2nd group of nuclear evacuees briefly return to homes
KAWAUCHI, Japan - A man wearing a radiation protection suit receives a helping hand as he enters a public facility in Kawauchi, Fukushima Prefecture, on May 12, 2011, for radiation screening after completing a two-hour visit to his home in the village within a designated no-entry zone near the crisis-hit Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. A group of around 70 evacuees from the no-go zone briefly returned home the same day to pick up personal belongings. It was the second two-hour trip home by evacuees, following one on May 10 involving 92 people.
