Cloud computing service helps disaster-affected animals

TOKYO, Japan - A dog is examined during a demonstration in Tokyo on May 12, 2011, using the cloud computing system of Fujitsu Ltd., which allows information management of the health condition of pets. A shelter in tsunami-struck Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, is using the system to manage and share information on the health of pets rescued in the aftermath of the March 11 disaster.
