HIMEJI, Japan - A ''shachihoko'' statue is brought down to the ground from the top of the castle keep of Himeji Castle, a World Cultural Heritage site in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, on June 8, 2011, for the first time in about 50 years during a refurbishment.

The 88-page all-color album has drawn massive orders with the proceeds financing the rebuilding of the castle.

After being created in the Hakuho period from the 7th to 8th centuries, the statue was burned in a fire leaving only its head, a national treasure.

They were returned for the first time in about 70 years after being repaired at the Kyoto National Museum.
