M7.3 quake jolts northeastern Japan
RIKUZENTAKATA, Japan - Residents in Rikuzentakata, Iwate Prefecture, evacuate to higher ground after a tsunami warning was issued following a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.3 that hit northeastern Japan on July 10, 2011. The areas were devastated by the March 11 quake and tsunami.
