OSAKA, Japan - Photo shows three versions of ''No More Hiroshima Nagasaki,'' an electronic book containing 37 accounts of survivors of the U.S. atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, which will be published on Aug. 1, 2011. On top is the Japanese version, on bottom is the English version and on left is Japanese with English translation.

      OSAKA, Japan - Photo shows the UT-PB1, an e-book reader handset to be put on sale by Panasonic Corp. on Aug. 10, 2011. The Japanese consumer electronics giant said July 22, 2011, that the handset, with a price tag of 34,800 yen, can only be purchased via Panasonic's web store. The e-book reader has a 7-inch color liquid-crystal display, and is equipped with 16 kinds of applications such as e-mail and a camera.

        HIROSHIMA, Japan - This photo of U.S. airman Hugh Atkinson, who died in the atomic-bombing of Hiroshima on Aug. 6, 1945, was registered at the national A-bomb victims memorial hall in Hiroshima on July 29. Atkinson from Washington was held prisoner in Hiroshima with a comrade after his plane was shot down off Kure in the same prefecture on July 28, 1945.

          YAIZU, Japan - Survivors and peace activists on March 1 mark the 50th anniversary of an incident in which 23 crew members of the Japanese trawler Fukuryu Maru No. 5 from Yaizu, Shizuoka Prefecture, and Rongelap Island residents were irradiated by a blast from a U.S. hydrogen bomb test at Bikini Atoll in the Pacific. A Japanese antinuclear group accused the state-run museum Aug. 4 of insulting A-bomb victims for selling such goods.
