'Loach city' promotes tourism
MATSUE, Japan - Hiromi Sakuno of the tourism association in Yasugi, Shimane Prefecture, holds a map featuring local restaurants serving loach dishes at a tourist facility in the city on Sept. 9, 2011. The city known for ''Yasugibushi,'' a folk song and loach-scooping dance, is promoting itself since Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda took office after comparing himself to the fish.
