Sanyo Shokai's luxury coat to support Japan quake victims

NEW YORK, United States - A man wears a limited edition coat with the stitched-letter of ''Kibo'' (hope) inside, which was manufactured in disaster-hit northeastern Japan using materials from the area to support the victims of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. Major Japanese apparel company Sanyo Shokai Ltd. is scheduled to launch the luxurious trench coats for men on Oct. 24, 2011, at Saks Fifth Avenue, an upper-end department store in New York, at the price of $795 apiece. All proceeds will be donated to a quake relief charity.
