China artist Ai Weiwei hit with $2.4 mil. tax bill
BEIJING, China - The dissident Chinese artist Ai Weiwei speaks to reporters at his Beijing home on Nov. 1, 2011. He said the authorities have ordered a company he controls to pay 15 million yuan (about $2.4 million) in fines and back taxes.
