OSAKA, Japan - A model compares two images on smartphones, one taken with an ordinary camera (L) and the other with an optical image stabilization function developed by Sharp Corp. Sharp announced the 12.1-megapixel, 1/3.2-inch CMOS camera module intended for mobile devices on Dec. 1, 2011.
