Fujifilm joins race to be Olympus partner

TOKYO, Japan - Shigehiro Nakajima, representative director of Fujifilm Holdings Corp., holds a press conference in Tokyo on Jan. 30, 2012. Nakajima said the company has proposed a capital and business tie-up with Olympus Corp., joining competition with Sony Corp. and others to become a business alliance partner for the scandal-tainted optical equipment manufacturer.
