U.S. inviting quake-affected Japan students on academic programs
TOKYO, Japan - U.S. Ambassador to Japan John Roos (L) attends a press conference in Tokyo on Feb. 3, 2012. The United States unveiled a set of student exchange programs that will take several hundred Japanese young people, mainly from areas affected by the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami, to U.S. educational institutions starting later in 2012.
