Court rejects suit by ex-JAL cabin attendants
TOKYO, Japan - Taeko Uchida (L), who heads a group of 72 former Japan Airlines cabin attendants dismissed by the company, holds a press conference in Tokyo on March 30, 2012, after the Tokyo District Court earlier in the day ruled against a lawsuit filed by the group over the dismissals. In the trial, they argued that they had been dismissed unfairly during the course of the carrier's rehabilitation, and sought a court order directing the airline to reemploy them.
