Bank to introduce biometric ATMs
NAGOYA, Japan - A senior executive (L) of Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank, a regional bank in Ogaki, Gifu Prefecture, tells a press conference in Nagoya on April 11, 2012, about the biometric automated teller machines the bank will be introducing that let customers withdraw cash without the need of their bank cards or account books. The company said the same day that it will introduce the biometric identification system, based on veins in the palm of the hand, from late September.
