Manabe to become West Japan Railway president

OSAKA, Japan - Seiji Manabe (R), vice president of West Japan Railway Co., known as JR West, shakes hands with President Takayuki Sasaki at the headquarters of the company in Osaka on April 27, 2012. The company said the same day that Manabe will be appointed president on May 1, succeeding Sasaki, who will become chairman.
