Japan successfully launches satellites into orbit

TANEGASHIMA, Japan - An H-2A rocket is launched from the Tanegashima Space Center in Kagoshima Prefecture, southwestern Japan, at 1:39 a.m. on May 18, 2012. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. said they successfully launched into space the H-2A rocket carrying four satellites, including the agency's Shizuku climate change observation satellite and a South Korean multipurpose observation satellite.
