Rainy season starts in Tokyo

The rainy season is believed to have started in the Kanto-Koshinetsu region, including Tokyo, the Hokuriku area along the Sea of Japan and the southern Tohoku area in northeastern Japan, the Japan Meteorological Agency said the same day. It began one day later than in usual years in the Kanto-Koshinetsu region.
