Protest rally against Osprey deployment plan

YAMAGUCHI, Japan - Local residents stage a protest rally in front of the city hall in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, on June 11, 2012, as a senior defense ministry official sought the cooperation of the municipal government of the city for the planned temporary deployment of MV-22 Osprey transport aircraft at a U.S. military base there before eventually deploying them at another U.S. base in Okinawa Prefecture.
