Japan pledges $6 bil. aid for green growth, disaster reduction
RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil - Japanese Foreign Minister Koichiro Gemba speaks at the U.N. Conference on Sustainable Development, or Rio+20, in Rio de Janeiro on June 20, 2012. In his speech Japan pledged $6 billion in aid over the next three years to help developing countries enable the transition to a green economy and reduce future disaster losses.
