Okinawa gov. rejects Osprey deployment
NAHA, Japan - Japanese Defense Minister Satoshi Morimoto (L) and Okinawa Gov. Hirokazu Nakaima hold talks at the prefectural office in Naha on July 1, 2012. Nakaima rejected a U.S. plan to deploy the MV-22 Osprey transport aircraft at the Marine Corps' Futenma Air Station in the southwestern Japan prefecture during their talks.
