The division will conductresearch in a wide range of fields to solve various technical problems at the decommissioning site, including evaluation technology to detect the aging deterioration of structures. With the aim of fostering human resources, a CFReND branch office will be established at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant site this summer.
