Nissan, Renault, Daimler to jointly develop compact engine

PARIS, France - Nissan Motor Co. President Carlos Ghosn (R), who also heads Renault SA, and Daimler AG Chief Executive Officer Dieter Zetsche hold a press conference at the Paris International Motor Show on Sept. 28, 2012. The three automakers announced they have agreed to jointly develop a compact four-cylinder, turbo-charged, highly fuel-efficient gasoline engine.
