S. Korea, U.S. seek stable Korean Peninsula

SEOUL, South Korea - South Korean vice foreign minister Ahn Ho Young (R) and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns shake hands ahead of their talks in Seoul on Oct. 16, 2012. The senior South Korean and U.S. diplomats agreed to try to maintain stability on the Korean Peninsula ahead of presidential elections in both countries, South Korea's foreign ministry said.
