U.S. Naval Forces Japan chief apologizes for Okinawa rape

On the alleged rape of a Japanese woman by two U.S. sailors in the prefecture, Cloyd voiced his "deepest, most sincere and most heartfelt apology for the enormous and intolerable suffering and trauma the victim had" and apologized for the "anger and mistrust" the incident has caused among the people of Okinawa.
