Ishihara to become head of new conservative party
TOKYO, Japan - Takeo Hiranuma (L), leader of the Sunrise Party of Japan, and outgoing Tokyo Gov. Shintaro Ishihara, raise their fists during a meeting of the party in Tokyo on Oct. 30, 2012. Ishihara was set to form a new party in early November that will incorporate the members of the small conservative party at its core.
