Restart of Tsuruga plant appears difficult
TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows the No. 1 (L) and No. 2 reactor buildings at Japan Atomic Power Co.'s Tsuruga plant in Fukui Prefecture on Dec. 10, 2012. A team of experts under Japan's nuclear regulatory authority agreed the same day that a fault running underneath a nuclear reactor at the plant is likely to be active, an assessment that makes the plant's resumption difficult.
