On-site probe of Dreamliner battery maker

Japanese and U.S. transport authorities conducted an on-site inspection the same day of subsidiary GS Yuasa International Ltd., which supplies batteries for Boeing Co.'s 787 Dreamliners, following an emergency landing by one of the aircraft on Jan. 16 at Takamatsu Airport in western Japan, the Japanese transport ministry said.
