NAHA, Japan - Photo taken from a Kyodo News plane shows a crewmember, holding a camera, on the deck of the Haijian 137, a Chinese maritime surveillance vessel, in waters 38 kilometers north of Uotsuri Island, part of the Japan-controlled Senkaku Islands, claimed by China, in the East China Sea at 5:52 p.m. on Jan. 21, 2013. A total of three Chinese maritime surveillance vessels entered Japanese territorial waters near the Senkaku Islands earlier in the day, leading the Japanese Foreign Ministry to lodge a protest with the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo.
