"Yamakagashi" snakes gain self-defense toxins
KYOTO, Japan - Akira Mori, an associate professor at Kyoto University's Graduate School of Science, holds a snake at a university laboratory on Jan. 21, 2013. He studies snake venoms out of intellectual curiosity, believing although there is no immediate usefulness, it can enrich human lives like art.
