3 U.S. researchers given Japan Prize
TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows John Frederick Grassle, professor emeritus at Rutgers University. The Japan Prize Foundation said on Jan. 30, 2013, the 2013 Japan Prize will be awarded to three U.S. researchers. The prize in the area of biological production and biological environment was given to Grassle for his findings on the biodiversity of deep-sea organisms, the foundation said.
