BOJ chief to step down early

TOKYO, Japan - Bank of Japan Governor Masaaki Shirakawa answers reporters' questions at the BOJ's head office in Tokyo on Feb. 5, 2013, regarding his surprise decision conveyed to the government earlier in the day that he will step down as head of the central bank on March 19, before his term expires on April 8.
