New textbooks describe Takeshima, Senkakus as Japan's
TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows pages of newly approved Japanese high school textbooks on which the disputed Senkaku Islands and Takeshima islets are described as Japanese territories. Most of the textbooks newly approved for use at high schools from April 2014 describe the disputed islands as Japanese territories, the education ministry said March 26, 2013, in announcing the results of recent textbook screenings.
