Protests against mayor over sexual servitude remarks
OSAKA, Japan - A member of a civic group supporting women who were forced to serve as wartime sex slaves reads aloud a protest letter against Osaka Mayor Toru Hashimoto over his series of remarks regarding such women, at the Osaka city offices on May 24, 2013. Hashimoto has been under fire over his claim that sexual servitude was "necessary to maintain discipline" in the Japanese military.
