MV-22 Osprey lands on Japanese destroyer for 1st time
SAN DIEGO, United States - Photo shows an MV-22 Osprey taking off from the Japanese helicopter destroyer Hyuga in waters off San Diego, California, on June 14, 2013, during a joint exercise involving the U.S. military and Japan's Self-Defense Forces. The U.S. Marine Corps landed the tilt-rotor aircraft on the Hyuga the same day, the first landing of an Osprey on a Japanese vessel.
