Hamamatsu event recognized as biggest theremin ensemble

HAMAMATSU, Japan - People play the "Matryomin" instrument, or theremin electronic musical instrument inside a container shaped like a Russian Matryoshka doll, during an event in Hamamatsu, central Japan, on July 20, 2013. The Guinness Book of Records said the same day it recognized the performance by 272 players as the largest theremin ensemble.
