Gov't panel calls for judo chief to step down
TOKYO, Japan - Haruki Uemura, chairman of the All Japan Judo Federation, is seen after receiving a report from the Public Interest Corporation Commission at the Cabinet Office in Tokyo on July 23, 2013, in which the government panel in effect calls for Uemura to step down to take responsibility for a scandal involving the federation's misappropriation of funds.
