WWII anniversary

TOKYO, Japan - People visit Yasukuni Shrine, the World War II-related Shinto shrine in Tokyo, on Aug. 15, 2013, the 68th anniversary of Japan's surrender in the war. People are being sprayed with mist coming from equipment prepared by the shrine to help visitors cope with heat.

Yamazaki, an Okayama Prefecture native, dedicated his life and career to provide medical service for people in China. He was a veterinarian in the now-defunct Japanese military and stayed in China after the end of World War II.

16,000 people evacuate as dud disposed of in western Tokyo
