U.S., Russia agree on plan to rid Syria of chemical weapons
GENEVA, Switzerland - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry (L) and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov hold a press conference in Geneva on Sept. 14, 2013. They said the United States and Russia have agreed on a plan to secure and eliminate Syria's chemical weapons under international supervision. Under the plan, Syria must submit a comprehensive list of its chemical weapons within one week and international inspectors must be on the ground in Syria no later than November.
