U.S.-based Japanese wins sculpture award

TOKYO, Japan - Minoru Ohira, a Japanese sculptor based in California who received the 2013 Denchu Hirakushi Award, gives an interview in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture, on Aug. 6, 2013, during a trip to Japan. Ohira became the first artist residing outside Japan to win the award.
