Sakai mayoral race

SAKAI, Japan - Osami Takeyama, the incumbent mayor of Sakai in Osaka Prefecture, receives flowers from a supporter after securing his reelection in the mayoral race in the city on Sept. 29, 2013. Takeyama won the election by a substantial margin, defeating a candidate backed by Osaka Mayor and Japan Restoration Party co-leader Toru Hashimoto.
