Kyoto's World Heritage temple to reopen after renovation
KYOTO, Japan - Shops along the "omotesando" front path leading to World Heritage site Byodoin temple in Uji, Kyoto Prefecture, western Japan, display a variety of souvenirs on April 2, 2014, in preparation for visitors ahead of the reopening the following day of the temple's Phoenix Hall after one and a half years of renovation work.
